1:24 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, plastic model kit

This 1:24 plastic model kit captures the Mercedes-Benz 300SL with the long hood, compact cabin and unmistakable gullwing door layout that made the original road car a lasting reference point in sports car design. The finished model measures 188 mm in length and 75 mm in width, giving the coupe a compact display footprint while leaving room for visible body contours, chrome-style trim and interior detail. A recreated tubular space frame brings one of the 300SL's most distinctive engineering features into the build, and the engine sits beneath an opening hood with a faithful depiction of the power unit. The gullwing doors also open, and small support struts allow the doors to be shown in the raised position. Nylon mesh is included for the front air intake, while metal-plated parts reproduce side bars, bumpers and other exterior trim. Metal transfers add emblem and mirror details, and masking stickers help define painted window areas during finishing. With an assembly time of 600 minutes, the kit suits a slower, detail-focused build where bodywork, trim and mechanical features can be finished step by step. On a shelf, desk or display cabinet, the opening panels and visible frame structure give the model different viewing angles, from the engine bay to the roof-hinged doors that define the 300SL silhouette. Paints are required separately.
