1:24 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, model kit

This 1:24 plastic model assembly kit recreates the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, the road car that formed the base for Mitsubishi's 1999 rally challenge. The body shape brings across the car's purposeful stance through the front bumper, side surfaces and the distinctive 2-step rear wing, giving the finished model a strong display presence on a shelf or in a collection cabinet. The kit is designed as a static display model and focuses on visual detail throughout the build. A radiator is recreated behind the nylon mesh front grille, which gives the front opening real depth instead of a flat molded look. The suspension and interior are depicted with realistic structure, adding substance to the wheel areas and cabin once the model is assembled and painted. Front fog lamps can be attached or left off, so the nose can be finished in 1 of 2 stated configurations. Assembly is required, with a stated build time of 600 minutes. During the build, the model moves through clear stages such as chassis, interior, glazing and exterior detail fitment, making it well suited to careful bench work over several sessions. Cement and paints are required separately. Once completed, the 1:24 scale format makes the model easy to place alongside other display cars while still leaving room for the grille, wing and cabin details to stand out.
