1:12 Ducati Desmosedici #65, assembly model kit

This 1:12 assembly model kit captures the 2004 Ducati Desmosedici #65 with the lean, aggressive form of a MotoGP racing motorcycle and the mechanical detail that makes the full machine rewarding to study on the bench. The layout follows hallmark Ducati engineering, pairing the truss frame with a V4 engine and a rear suspension swing arm attached directly to the crank case. Fine finishing details give the model much of its character. Plastic tubing is used to depict the accelerator, clutch and brake wiring, so the control areas read with the layered look of a real race bike rather than a simplified shell. The assembled motorcycle also supports an open display style: the side and seat cowling can be removed after assembly to expose the engine area and change the presentation from streamlined fairing view to mechanical cutaway effect. Assembly is required, with a stated build time of 600 minutes. On a shelf, in a display cabinet or beside other racing motorcycle builds, the synthetic rubber slick tires and sharply defined bodywork help the Ducati hold a convincing competition stance. The kit contains the assembly model kit itself. Due to sponsor's request, white marking decals are not included with this kit.
