This 1:12 Honda CBR110XX Super Blackbird model kit recreates the 1996 supersport motorcycle with its long, aerodynamic fairing and tightly packaged mechanical layout. As the body panels, frame and liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine come together, the finished machine takes on the low, fast profile that made the original road bike so distinctive. The kit is designed as a plastic assembly model, with separate sections for the suspension, front fork, exhaust, radiator and rear lighting. Small screws are used to mount the engine and cowling to the frame, which helps show how the major assemblies connect on the full-size motorcycle. Metal-plated parts are used for the dual headlight case, exhaust and front forks, adding a different surface finish from the painted body panels. The build also uses vinyl tubing in multiple cut lengths to represent hoses and lines around the engine and front end, while mesh inserts and decals add cockpit and fairing detail. Assembly takes about 600 minutes. On the bench, the model supports a measured, step-by-step build with visible progress across the chassis, engine and bodywork.
