1:12 Yamaha YZF-R1M, plastic model assembly kit

This 1:12 scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1M, a circuit-focused motorcycle shaped by technology influenced by the YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. The compact, refined bodywork and the full fairing layout give the finished build the sharp stance of the 8th generation YZF-R1M, first released in 2015. The model belongs to the long-running 1/12 Motorcycle Series and marks a landmark year for the YZF-R1, its 20th anniversary in 2018. A multi-piece 4-cylinder engine forms the technical centre of the build, with fine depictions extending to the radiator, oil cooler and complex engine covers. Tubing is included to recreate various lines, adding extra depth around the engine area. Separate front cowl parts depict the headlights, position lights and inner cowl with crisp definition. A metal transfer for the Yamaha emblem is planned for inclusion, adding a sharp finishing touch to the completed machine. Screw-fixed construction joins major sections such as the engine, swing arm, front fork and upper cowl to the frame for accurate assembly across key areas. New synthetic rubber tyres depict Bridgestone Battlax RS10s with a realistic tread pattern, while the included display stand supports presentation once the motorcycle is complete. Cement and paints are required separately. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes, giving the build room to unfold as a detailed bench project and a finished display model.
