The 1:10 Sand Scorcher 2010 brings the rounded Baja buggy silhouette from the original 1979 release into an R/C assembly kit with rear-wheel drive 2WD mechanics and a detailed body shell. On sand and loose dirt, the layout combines the long-travel off-road stance with the direct feel of a classic buggy chassis, creating a model that looks distinctive even before the first run.
The body is molded in white polystyrene and reproduces the one-make race buggy style seen at the Baja 1000 in California, while the kit also includes a polycarbonate body in the listed scope of delivery. A transparent mechanism case covers the R/C components and battery area, keeping the internal layout visible while shielding the running gear from dirt thrown up by the tyres. The chassis uses 4-wheel independent suspension with a front double trailing arm setup and rear swing axle arrangement, giving each corner room to work over broken ground. Reinforced front uprights add support at the steering end, and the 3-piece center-lock wheels carry grooved front tyres with ribbed rear tyres for terrain-specific grip.
During outdoor running, the Sand Scorcher shows its character in broad slides, quick direction changes and the lifted stance of a desert racer. Radio gear, a battery pack, a charger and paints are required separately.

Es ist ein Retromodell,dem Original nachempfunden
Ich besitze das Modell seit ca. 30 Jahren und bin immer noch begeistert ????????????
Karakterristik:Alumodell,kein Differential,Semischale,nahezu unverwüstlich
Ein Liebhaberstück ,das man sich gönnen sollte,besonders als Kaäferfan Der Preis ist mehr als gerachtfertigt ????????????????

Besitze noch das ORIGINAL,ERSTAUSGABE ???????????????? Hier besitzt man die Möglichkeit ein Retromodell der Sonderklasse zu erwerben.
Dieses Modell ist detailgenau,wie das Original aufgebaut (Aluminium),extrem robust.
Ich besitze diesen Buggy seit über 35Jahren und würde ihn um keinen Preis der Welt hergeben ????Er ist kein Rennbuggy sondern ein Spaßfahrzeug aber einfach liebenswert????????????????
Der Preis ist bei dieser "Kilometerleistung"fast ein Geschenk,solange man diesen Buggy nicht aus dem Fenster wirft ist er so gut wie unverwüstlich????????????????
