The TAMIYA truck for tough construction site use! The Mercedes Benz
Acros 4151 8x4 is a real heavyweight on the construction site. TAMIYA
has modified the proven chassis for this truck: Like the original, the
truck has 4 axles. The two rear axles are powered by a powerful 540
electric motor. The two front axles are steered by a servo (sold
separately). The steering angle of the two axles is different, so that the truck handles just like the real thing.
The frame has a subframe to accommodate the newly designed tipping body.
The body has been reinforced with a metal subframe and can be controlled via the optional TAMIYA ACU-01 unit (56545).
The distinctive design of the new Arocs is as extraordinary as the truck
itself. The look, which was developed especially for construction
vehicles, features a radiator grille in the so-called excavator tooth
look, which is intended to convey the message: "Bite through and grab
hold." In keeping with the robust appearance, special protective grilles for the lighting system are attached to the bumper.
The cab, as well as the H, K, M, HH parts and the tipper body, are made
of green plastic and pre-painted in TS-52 Candy Lime Green and TS-29
Semi-Gloss Black with clear coat. The L parts (interior) are made of black plastic (the original was white).
The 667 mm long and approximately 4 kg heavy kit model can be used to
assemble impressive combinations. The proven and robust TAMIYA truck
technology is located under the forward-tilting cab. A new Mighty-Tuned
35T electric motor transmits its power to the two rear axles via a
switchable 3-speed transmission. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility.
A tow bar (e.g., Carson 500907182) can be attached to the rear of the frame to pull trailers.
With the optionally available multifunction unit, almost all sound and
light functions of the prototype can be simulated with remarkable realism.

(6-channel), 500501003 (14-channel) or 500501004 (14-channel LCD display) recommended
- 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger
- Steering servo + servo for manual transmission
- Speed controller or TAMIYA multifunction unit MFC-03 300056523 for driving, light, and sound functions
- TAMIYA ACU-01 spindle drive unit (300056545) for driving the dump body. The ACU-01 is plugged into the multifunction unit.

- L (interior) parts are molded in black (original was white) and paints are not required.
- Item 56366 packaging is used, with dedicated labels identifying this product.
