HG II Pointed Brush Fine, modeling brush

The HG II Pointed Brush Fine is a round modeling brush built for controlled detail painting, with very fine PBT resin bristles that produce a smooth, soft brushstroke. Its narrow pointed tip suits careful work on small sections, whether tracing panel edges, refining painted parts or adding crisp color to tight areas on scale models. The brush combines a silver ferrule with a solvent-resistant handle designed for regular bench use. Laser-engraved TAMIYA MODELING BRUSH HG lettering and the size marking in Japanese are set directly into the grip, so the marking remains easy to identify during a painting session. At the rear, the grip end has a stopper that helps keep the brush from rolling across the work surface. If that feature is not needed, the stopper can be cut off with side cutters. On the workbench, the fine round profile supports measured paint pickup and careful placement in corners, along raised detail and around small molded features. It fits neatly into model finishing sessions that call for a soft stroke, a defined point and reliable handling between repeated dips, passes and touch-ups.
