HG II Pointed Brush X Fine, modeling brush

The HG II Pointed Brush X Fine is a round modeling brush built for precise paint placement on small parts and narrow detail zones. Very fine PBT resin bristles create an extra-fine pointed tip with a smooth, soft brushstroke, making it well suited to careful line work, edge painting and small touch-ups on scale builds. The slim black handle pairs with a silver ferrule and a compact brush head that stays easy to position close to the work area. Laser-engraved markings on the grip read TAMIYA MODELING BRUSH HG together with the size in Japanese, so the brush can be identified quickly among other tools on the bench. The handle material is solvent-resistant, which suits regular use with hobby painting routines that involve paint and thinner contact. At the rear, the grip-end has a stopper that helps prevent the brush from rolling across the table and reduces the chance of the tip being damaged between painting steps. If that stopper is not needed, it can be cut off with side cutters. This makes the brush a focused choice for detail sessions such as picking out panel lines, trim sections and other small painted accents on models.
