Texture Clay Grit Light Sand gives diorama surfaces a sandy, grainy finish that changes a flat base into terrain with visible relief. The 100 ml jar combines color and texture in one material, making it suitable for groundwork that needs both a light sand tone and a rough surface character. The mixture is described for terrain reproduction and is supplied as a liquid blend of binders, pigments, solvents and additives. At 20 °C it is fully soluble in water, with a pH value of 8.5 ± 1.5 and a relative density of 1.1 ± 0.1. These material details support controlled application across scenic bases, embankments and shaped groundwork where a uniform sand effect is needed. The grit effect suits military scenes, arid landscapes, roadside shoulders and other dry settings where plain paint would look too smooth. On a display base, the light sand shade can tie vehicles, figures and structures into the same environment. Used across larger terrain sections or in smaller patches, it helps model scenes read as finished locations rather than separate parts placed on a flat surface.
