TextureClaySoil DarkEarth, diorama clay, 150 g

TextureClaySoil DarkEarth is a 150 g diorama clay for building realistic ground texture on scenic bases and model displays. The dark earth colour and the numerous coloured resin particles work together to give the surface a soil-like appearance, while the clay body can be shaped into bumps, shallow depressions and broken terrain that look less flat than a plain painted base. This modelling material is aimed at groundwork rather than fine structural parts. Spread across a base, it helps establish the landform under vehicles, figures or military scenes before further detailing is added. The mixed particle content creates visible variation through the surface, which helps earth sections avoid a uniform finish. Because the compound is already coloured in a dark earth tone, the base starts with a terrain-appropriate look even before weathering powders, grass or other scenic materials are applied. On a tank display, the clay can define churned soil around the running gear area and shape the rise and fall of the ground beneath the hull. On a small vignette or larger diorama, it supports rough paths, embankments and irregular field surfaces that give the scene a more convincing setting.
