Chipping Liquid 40ml, finishing material bottle

Chipping Liquid 40 ml is a finishing material for plastic models that creates realistic weathering by letting the top paint layer lift away in controlled areas. Applied between a lacquer base color and an acrylic overpaint layer, the water-based formula helps recreate chipped edges, worn panels and damaged paint surfaces that suit military subjects and other heavily used vehicle finishes. The process is specific and hands-on. A thin coat of the liquid is applied by airbrush or brush over the dried base color, then covered with the hull color. Water is added only where paint wear is wanted; this softens the layer so the top color can be peeled away with a toothpick or similar tool. Used carefully, that sequence makes it possible to place scratches and chips where traffic, contact or exposed edges would naturally wear through. Used tools can be washed with water after the session. The 40 ml square bottle fits neatly on the workbench for detail-focused finishing sessions and small batch paint work. This material is oriented toward advanced modelers and works best when the paint sequence is followed closely, as the top color does not peel after it has fully dried. Brushes are not included.
