Weathering Stick Sand, model finishing stick

Weathering Stick Sand brings direct, pen-style finishing to scale models and diorama work. The solid applicator tip twists up from the barrel and transfers colour by rubbing it straight onto the surface, giving controlled placement on edges, recesses and textured areas where dusty wear is meant to collect. The Sand tone is intended for model building weathering effects and suits dry deposits, pale earth traces and sun-worn surface variation. The cosmetic-style format keeps the material in a compact stick instead of a loose medium, which helps when working around small parts and narrow sections. The uncapped tip allows the colour to be drawn across raised detail or pressed into selected spots, then built up gradually where a stronger effect is needed. This makes it useful for armour, aircraft, cars, structures and scenic groundwork that benefit from a dry, light-toned finish. On a tank hull, the shade can pick out dust on lower panels and corners. On a roadside diorama or building section, it can add dry soil notes and faded handling marks that break up a flat painted surface with a more lived-in look.
