TLU-02 Light Control Unit, RC lighting module

The TLU-02 Light Control Unit brings transmitter-linked lighting control to an electric radio control touring car, turning separately available LED lights into active signals that change with driving inputs. Headlights, position lights and fog lights can be selected for evening-style running, while brake lights, backup lights and blinkers respond through the control system for a more convincing road-car look. Beyond constant illumination, the module adds programmed effects that shift with vehicle behaviour. Hazard lights flash after the car stops, passing lights can be triggered for brief bursts, and acceleration can activate flashing sequences that give the body shell a more animated presence on the track. The unit also supports siren-like LED patterns, unidirectional flashing of 8 LED lights, and back-and-forth flashing of 8 LED lights. With 2 separately available TLU-01 units connected, the system can operate up to 16 LED sets, or 32 lights in total. The control layout is designed along lines similar to an ESC, which keeps installation logic familiar within many RC electronics setups. In a workshop build or a finished touring car refresh, the module opens up more detailed light behaviour than a fixed on-off arrangement. A transmitter, battery, TLU-01 unit and LED lights are required separately.
