CC-01 Alum. Oil Damper Set, RC chassis upgrade

The CC-01 Alum. Oil Damper Set is an RC chassis upgrade made for the Tamiya CC-01 platform, using aluminum dampers to bring more composed suspension movement to cross-country running. On loose gravel, rutted tracks and uneven ground, the oil-filled design helps the chassis absorb repeated bumps with a steadier response than a basic friction setup. The set provides the parts needed to assemble 4 dampers, covering both front and rear positions for a balanced suspension layout. Each damper uses a silver anodized cylinder with a dark titanium anodized cap, giving the hardware a clean mechanical look that matches detailed off-road builds. V parts are included, along with small attachment parts for mounting to the chassis. The assembly sheet for the damper set notes standard oil as #400 and indicates separate front and rear spring use from the base kit. This upgrade suits builders refining a CC-01 for trail driving, rocky paths or mixed-surface sessions where repeated compression and rebound shape how the chassis settles after bumps.
