Within the chassis, parts A8 and A9 allow installation of square-shaped battery packs in place of earlier chassis pieces, and the instruction data notes that the battery pack is secured with glass tape. A redesigned A3 section opens space for a low-profile servo during assembly, while standard-size servo installation uses part A7 with 3 x 18 mm tapping screws. The motor position shifts 3 mm closer to the center, changing the weight distribution within the chassis. The set is also compatible with Item 54606 one-piece lower suspension arms, which allows rebound stroke adjustment when that arm set is used.
