The DB01/TRF511 Gear Differential Unit 37T adds a sealed oil-filled differential layout to compatible RC buggy drivetrains, replacing the kit-standard ball differential used on DB-01 and 511/502 chassis. That change opens another tuning route at the center of the transmission, where oil viscosity directly influences how quickly the differential moves under load on loose or changing off-road surfaces. Inside the assembly, a 37T pulley works with 12T and 20T bevel gears, while the sealed case uses a gasket, O-rings, shafts, shims and screws to hold the oil around the internal gear set. The instruction data specifies filling the case until the bevel gears are covered, making the working principle clear and easy to service. Higher viscosity oil slows differential movement, so the same unit can be adjusted for different grip levels and handling balance. Compared with a standard ball differential, this gear differential requires less frequent maintenance cycles. The included cross shaft from Item 54311 is supplied as standard, and the differential joint cups can also be sourced later as spare parts.
