The TRF Special Damper F103GT is an RC damper set built to sharpen suspension response on compatible Tamiya formula chassis. A fluorine-coated cylinder works with a titanium-coated piston to reduce friction inside the unit, so the damper stroke stays smooth as the suspension moves over uneven track sections and through repeated corner entries.
The set contains 26 pieces for damper assembly and is designed for use with the F103GT chassis as well as F104PRO II, F104Ver.II PRO, F104W, F104, TRF103, TRF102 and TRF101 platforms. The spring retainer is adjustable, and spring pressure is tuned by rotating the cylinder nut, allowing setup changes to match surface grip and handling balance. The instruction sheet also specifies a basic setting with #400 damper oil and a 3-hole piston. Damper oil is required separately.
Mounted between the chassis and suspension points, the assembled dampers support more controlled movement when refining a formula car for practice sessions, setup work or repeat laps on a home or club track. This makes the set a focused upgrade for builders who want to tune suspension action with dedicated TRF hardware rather than standard kit dampers.
