2WD Rib-Spike F Tires, buggy front tire set

The 2WD Rib-Spike F Tires bring a classic Tamiya front-tire pattern back into circulation with a re-issued version of the 60/60 design. Each tire uses a hybrid tread made up of 2 rows of round spikes plus a rib, a layout developed to give 2WD buggies strong front-end bite and a more defined response when the steering is loaded into a corner. This set contains 2 front tires and matches the specification previously sold as Item 53083. The same tire was also used in Item 47381 Super Astute (2018), which makes this release useful for maintenance, replacement, or period-faithful setup work on compatible buggy builds. The rubber construction focuses the contact area at the front axle, where steering accuracy and directional stability matter most on loose or changing track surfaces. Mounted on compatible front wheels from Item 54680, the tires suit 2WD buggy platforms including DT02 and DT-03. They fit naturally into workshop routines that involve replacing worn tread, tuning front grip, or bringing an older chassis back to running condition with the correct front tire pattern for the era.
