F104 Rubber Tires Front Hard brings a focused setup change to Formula RC running, using a harder front compound and belted construction to keep the front axle working on cold winter tracks, indoor carpet and asphalt. The 30 mm wide, 64 mm diameter format is made for F104 rubber tire wheel applications, so the change targets handling rather than the overall layout of the car.
The set contains 2 hollow chamber front tires. The harder compound is specified for low-temperature conditions, where extra front grip can be difficult to maintain as track surfaces cool down. Belting helps the tire hold its shape as speed builds, which supports a more even contact patch through long corners and quick direction changes. When paired with F104 Rubber Tires Rear Soft, the setup is intended to produce slight understeer, giving racers a clear way to tune steering balance through tire choice. Compatible wheel sets listed for this tire are 51398, 54201, 54527 and 54528.
These tires suit track-day setup work where surface temperature changes the car's balance from session to session. On a cold indoor carpet layout or a winter asphalt circuit, the front axle can be tuned with a direct compound change instead of altering the whole chassis package.
