The 1:10 Ford Escort MkII Rally RC model kit pairs a classic rally shape with the MF-01X chassis, creating a machine that looks at home kicking up dust on flat dirt or tracking cleanly across asphalt. Its clear polycarbonate body recreates the Escort MkII form with a lightweight shell, while molded ABS parts for the bumpers, side mirrors and fog lights bring extra definition to the exterior.
Under the shell, the MF-01X layout uses a rear-mounted 540 Torque Tuned motor, a propeller shaft and gear differentials to drive all 4 wheels. The chassis frame combines a 3-segment structure with a 2-piece frame and gearbox housing, giving the running gear a compact, purpose-built layout. At 414 mm in length with a 239 mm L wheelbase, the model carries the long-wheelbase rally setup specified for this body. The chassis can also be converted to other wheelbase formats with separately sold parts, and it remains compatible with previous M-chassis bodies. An electronic speed controller is included.
The decal sheet finishes the shell with sponsor logos and period rally graphics, while the front and rear light cases are compatible with separately sold 5 mm LEDs for an illuminated display or night-stage look. Radio gear, a battery pack, a charger and paints are required separately. On a shelf, the Escort body and rally markings deliver strong historic motorsport character; on the ground, the 4WD layout and suspension setup support running across mixed surfaces.
