The classic body comes mounted on the DT-02 chassis which has its battery pack loaded in the center of the bathtub frame providing excellent handling performance even on rough surfaces. The DT-02 machine is a simple 2WD chassis which features a straightforward, rugged design to ensure easy assembly and superb reliability while its 4-wheel double wishbone suspension offers agile handling. Combining exciting performance with user-friendliness, the DT-02 chassis is the perfect way for R/C novices to start enjoying the wonderful hobby of Radio Control. About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale 2WD R/C model assembly kit. • 2.5mm thickness FRP chassis gives a low center of gravity for excellent balance. The battery pack position has been slightly enlarged. Please note it is not compatible with square-shaped battery packs. • 4-wheel double wishbone suspension employs CVA oil dampers. • Sealed gearbox features TTC, which was Tamiya's first slipper clutch and protects gears from impacts and gives stable drive by limiting wheelspin. This re-release version is based closely upon the original, with some tweaks to bring it up to date. About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 390mm, width: 234mm, height: 163mm. • Aerodynamic body is lightweight and durable polycarbonate. Engine and exhausts are depicted by chassis parts. • Utilizes a sturdy ABS resin bathtub-type chassis. • Shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain for excellent stability off-road, with full ball bearings ensuring minimal power loss. • 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with CVA oil dampers lets the car tackle bumpy surfaces with confidence. • Rack and pinion steering (the only of its kind on a Tamiya model) gives excellent driving feel.
