1:35 Ger. PzKpfw. III Ausf. L, plastic model kit

This 1:35 scale plastic model kit captures the Ger. PzKpfw. III Ausf. L, one of the core tanks fielded by German armored divisions through the early and middle stages of WWII. The long-barreled 5cm KwK 39 L/60 gun, the driver's front panel and the main gun mantlet are reproduced with the sharp, mechanical look that defines this version, giving the finished tank a convincing presence on a shelf or diorama base. Beyond the outer shape, the kit carries detail into areas that stay visible during the build and after completion. The fighting compartment loading area, turret interior and commander's seat are all reproduced, which gives the open sections more structure than a closed-shell build. The mantlet section is designed as a movable assembly, and the turret is fitted so it can rotate once installed on the hull. The track run is built as a glued assembly, and the instructions specify a 600-minute assembly time. Plastic cement and paints are required separately. Display options add variety to the final result. Hatches can be set open or closed, the front spaced armor and mantlet spaced armor include optional configurations, and the included tank commander figure can be placed in the turret hatch to change the character of the finished model. Spare tracks, tools and other hull details help create a fuller exterior, whether the tank is finished as a clean display build or worked into a scene with weathering and markings.
