1:35 Panzer IV/70(A), plastic model assembly kit

This 1:35 plastic model assembly kit captures the German Panzer IV/70(A) with the long, low silhouette that defined this late-war tank destroyer. At 242 mm long and 98 mm wide, the finished model gives the L/70 gun, raised fighting compartment and side armor layout a strong presence on the workbench or in a display lineup. The hull is based on the Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf.J kit, with newly tooled sections beyond the drive sprockets, road wheels and return rollers. Side slide molding helps reproduce the body shape, and late-production features such as the fuel port hatch and return roller support frame are recreated in detail. Surface treatment adds further depth with a cast gun shield and rolled steel fighting compartment walls, while assembly type lightweight tracks use one-piece straight sections to simplify alignment across the upper and lower runs. Large photo-etched parts capture the mesh Schurzen with a finer look than molded solid panels. The finished vehicle can be posed with the main gun elevated, depressed or traversed, and the sighting device moves with it for a more convincing final presentation. Opening commander and loader hatches add extra display options, and the set includes 1 torso commander figure to bring scale to the upper hull. Two marking options allow the model to be finished as an Eastern Front or Western Front vehicle. Cement and paints are required separately.
