The 1:48 Brit. Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I brings one of the Royal Air Force's most recognized fighters into a focused aircraft build with updated tooling and a more accurate appearance. Its streamlined fuselage and elliptical wings give the finished model the unmistakable silhouette associated with the Battle of Britain, whether displayed with the canopy open or closed. This plastic model kit can be assembled to recreate multiple Spitfire Mk.I variants, using dedicated parts for different front canopy and sight configurations. A seated pilot figure is included for the cockpit, adding life to the aircraft when viewed through the clear parts. The finished model measures 235 mm in wingspan and 191 mm in fuselage length, giving the airframe a compact display footprint while still leaving room for visible surface and cockpit work. 3 marking options allow different historical finishes, including Battle of Britain and pre-war style subjects shown in the kit material.
