1:48 Ger. Focke Wulf Fw190 A-3, aircraft model kit

This 1:48 Ger. Focke Wulf Fw190 A-3 assembly kit captures one of the Luftwaffe's key WWII fighters in a display size that still leaves room for fine surface and engine detail. With a finished wingspan of 219 mm and length of 184 mm, the model brings the compact, muscular proportions of the Fw190 A-3 onto the workbench and into the display cabinet. The build focuses on the aircraft's distinctive structure and equipment. Inside the fuselage, the cockpit is formed from separate side consoles, an instrument panel, rudder pedals, control stick and seat, and the seated pilot figure can be fitted as an option. The clear parts allow the canopy to be shown open, which keeps the cockpit visible after completion. Around the nose, the radial engine layout is supported by detailed cooling fin treatment, exhaust parts and a cooling fan, while the landing gear, tailwheel and propeller complete the characteristic stance of the aircraft on the ground. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. The painting and finishing stage adds another layer of historical character through 3 marking options, including an aircraft flown by Hans Hahn. Camouflage placement, fuselage codes and insignia can be applied with reference to the included markings, making the completed aircraft suited to both focused bench sessions and shelf display alongside other 1:48 scale aircraft.
