1:12 Yamaha XV1000 Virago, motorcycle model kit

The 1:12 Yamaha XV1000 Virago model kit brings the long, relaxed lines of Yamaha's cruiser into a display scale that shows off both styling and mechanical detail. The finished motorcycle combines a low 715 mm seat height, pull-back handlebars and forward foot rests from the original machine into a silhouette that reads clearly on a shelf or in a collection. The full-size XV1000 Virago used a 981 cc V-twin with 70 hp and a 32 degree front wheel caster angle, extending the wheelbase to 1525 mm for straight-running stability, and those defining traits shape the character of this kit. Visible subassemblies such as the frame, rear swing arm, shock absorbers, front fork, muffler, fuel tank and electrical equipment cover give the build a clear mechanical sequence. Decal placement and paint references guide the finish for Yamaha markings, Virago scripts, clear orange indicators, a clear red rear light and gold-toned trim over chrome-finished areas. The included assembly kit also leaves room for careful work on smaller details such as brake lines, meter cable, clutch cable and backrest parts. On the workbench, the model supports a measured build with painting, fitting and final marking as separate stages rather than a quick snap-together session. Once completed, the center stand allows the motorcycle to rest upright for display, where the V-twin engine, stepped seat, backrest and cruiser geometry remain easy to appreciate.
