1:10 The Grasshopper II, RC buggy assembly kit

The Grasshopper II returns in this 2017 1:10 R/C buggy assembly kit with the lean proportions, exposed suspension and rear-drive layout that made the original late-1980s machine so distinctive. At 400 mm long, 221 mm wide and 139 mm high, the model carries a compact off-road stance that looks right at home carving across packed dirt and loose gravel. An ABS resin bathtub chassis forms the core structure, keeping the running gear organized in a simple, accessible layout. The kit uses a 2WD drivetrain and a fully enclosed rear gearbox, so the differential works inside a protected housing while the rear axle delivers power to the ground. One-piece 8-spoke wheels pair with ribbed front tyres and spike rear tyres, a classic buggy combination that separates directional control from traction. A 380 size motor and electronic speed controller are included, and the platform is also compatible with selected tune-up parts such as standard Type 540 motors and CVA mini oil dampers. The white polystyrene resin body gives painting and decal work a crisp base, and the included driver figure adds cockpit detail once attached to the shell. Radio gear, TS spray paint, a 7.2 V battery and a compatible charger are required separately. On a garden path, hard-packed track or dusty open ground, the suspension movement, rear-drive balance and period buggy styling come together in a model that suits both display between runs and regular outdoor driving sessions.
