Grasshopper II Spike rear tires bring a dedicated off-road tread pattern to the driven end of a compatible RC buggy. The black rubber pair combines small round knobs across the main surface with larger pointed side knobs, creating a clear contact layout for loose ground, dusty paths and uneven terrain where the rear axle needs bite under acceleration.
As a 2-piece rear set, these tires suit maintenance, replacement and setup changes on compatible Grasshopper II builds. The rubber construction allows the carcass to flex as it mounts to the wheel, while the tread blocks present multiple edges to the ground as the buggy loads up through starts, climbs and direction changes. The sidewall carries embossed Continental lettering visible on the tire itself. Because these are rear tires, the tread focus stays on the end of the chassis that transfers drive to the surface.
On dirt sections, gravelly patches or rough backyard tracks, the spike pattern helps the rear end dig in where a worn tire can start to lose consistency. The matched pair also keeps both rear corners on the same tread style, which matters when refreshing an older runner or preparing a compatible buggy for another session outdoors.
