The 1:14 FH16 Timber Truck is an RC assembly kit built around the long-bed timber hauler layout, with a detailed ABS cab, upright stakes and a full-size truck stance across 733 mm length, 194 mm width and 306 mm height. The Volvo FH16 Globetrotter form is recreated with a photo-etched grille, interior cab details and a rear section shaped for log transport styling. Its chassis follows a ladder-frame construction with aluminum side channels and resin cross members, while a front-mounted motor sends drive through a metal propeller shaft to the rear axles. Each rear axle uses its own metal differential, and the suspension combines metal leaf springs with friction dampers for a mechanical layout that closely reflects the full-scale vehicle. The rear bed uses reinforced resin and metal parts for the stakes and tailgate, and new rear tyres with off-road tread add a more purposeful forestry-truck look. The cab is screwed in place and removable, and space behind the seats allows installation of the separately available MFC-03 multifunction unit. On the bench, the model offers a build centered on truck engineering details rather than a simplified shell-over-chassis format. Once assembled, the 3-speed transmission brings a more involved driving rhythm, especially on longer runs where shifting changes the truck's pace and character. A 4-channel radio system, a battery pack and a charger are required separately.

• Stakes and tailgate are made of a combination of reinforced plastic and metal parts.
• Power transmission from the motor to the two driven rear axles is via a metal propeller shaft.
• 2 metal differentials on the rear axles make tight cornering easier
• Faithful replica of the suspension (metal leaf springs and friction dampers)
• Includes TR mighty-tuned motor (35T) for perfect power delivery to the two driven rear axles
• New rear tires with off-road tread
• 3-speed gearbox can be operated via an optional 4-channel remote control system
• Easily removable driver's cab (screwed, not tiltable)
• Highly detailed interior. The multifunction unit (not included) can be installed behind the seats.
• Recommended accessories: MFC-03 multifunction unit (300056523) for driving, lighting, and sound functions.
• Note: Optional accessories are LEDs with longer cables for this model, which are replaced by the standard LEDs in the MFC.
