The 2 hard compound rubber tires measure 22 mm and are intended for 1:14 scale applications, where the firmer material changes how the trailer responds as the combination enters and exits a corner.
On the front of a trailer, the hard compound helps counter over-steer and rear sliding, giving the articulated setup a more composed line through bends. On trailer axles, the same lower-traction characteristic supports smoother cornering, which can be useful when tuning a truck for different surfaces or driving styles. The molded sidewall and tread detailing also match the scale look expected on working truck models, so the tires contribute visually as well as mechanically.
