The 1:14 Knight Hauler RC truck kit brings American highway style into a large-scale build with a 440 mm length, a 188 mm width and a dark tractor-truck body defined by twin exhaust stacks, a tall sleeper cab and chrome exterior parts. At this size, the model carries strong road presence on the bench and on the ground, while the 1:14 format leaves room for visible mechanical detail across the frame, driveline and cab parts.
Under the body, the aluminum ladder chassis uses a 272 mm wheelbase and a tandem rear axle layout that match the long-haul truck format. Front tread measures 156 mm and rear tread 138 mm, shaping the narrow-front, dual-drive stance associated with full-size road tractors. The drivetrain centers on a 3-speed gearbox with selectable 10.6:1, 17.7:1 and 32.4:1 ratios, adding a shifting function that changes how the truck delivers power. Weight is listed at 2300 g, giving the assembled model substantial mass for a grounded feel during running and coupling work. A fifth-wheel plate sits behind the cab to accept compatible semi-trailers in realistic tractor-trailer configuration.
On a workshop table, the long frame rails, gearbox parts, propeller shafts and suspension hardware create a build with clear mechanical structure rather than a simple shell-over-chassis layout. Once assembled, the Knight Hauler suits slow-scale driving, trailer hookup sessions and display alongside transport-themed trailers and cargo scenes. Radio gear, a battery pack, a charger and paints are required separately.
