The 1:14 MAN TGX 18.540 RC assembly kit captures the presence of a modern road tractor with a pre-painted styrene cab in TS-39 Mica Red. At 520 mm long, 187 mm wide and 293 mm high, the model brings tall-roof truck proportions to the bench and the driving area, with a clear urethane topcoat over the body finish. Under the cab, the ladder type frame combines aluminum and polycarbonate, matching the full-size truck layout with a 2-axle drivetrain. Front and rear rigid axles work with metal leaf springs, while aluminum dummy dampers complete the scale undercarriage look. The drivetrain uses front and rear bevel gear differentials, and the Electric 540 motor feeds a 3-gear transmission that can be shifted via the transmitter. Technical geometry is specified at 0deg caster, 0deg camber and 0deg toe front and rear, with a tread of 156 mm at the front and 138 mm at the rear. Tire width is 22 mm front and rear, and tire diameter is 83 mm on both axles. The 237+103 mm wheelbase and truck-style suspension layout suit steady running sessions on smooth ground and make the chassis details easy to appreciate during assembly and maintenance. Radio gear, a 7.2V battery, a charger and an ESC are required separately unless using MFC Unit #56511.
