The 1:14 Scania R470 Silver Edition is an RC model kit that brings cab-over truck presence to the workbench with a pre-painted ABS body, a tall Highline-style silhouette and a metallic TS-17 silver finish. At 452 mm long, 187 mm wide and 293 mm high, the model has the broad stance and upright proportions that give this tractor unit its road-going character. The cab recreates the Scania R470 with separate fenders and a forward-tilting cab section, echoing the layout of the full-size truck. Inside, the interior is fitted out with seats and a dashboard, adding visible detail behind the large windshield. Under the body, the 2-axle 4x2 chassis combines a ladder frame, aluminum side channels and resin cross members. A front-mounted motor drives the rear axle setup through the transmission, while the included coupler allows connection with currently available Tamiya 1:14 scale trailers. On the bench, the pre-painted body parts reduce finishing work while leaving the mechanical build at the center of the kit. During operation, the optional 4-channel control setup enables shifting through the 3-speed gearbox for a more involved driving sequence. The MFC-03 multifunction unit is recommended separately for driving, lighting and sound functions.
