TRF Big Bore Dampers+ (4), touring car damper set

TRF Big Bore Dampers+ brings the TRF419 damper design into a touring car tuning set built for sharper suspension response and stronger track grip. The 4-damper package uses cylinders that are 0.5 mm wider than standard, increasing oil volume by 10% and giving the damping action a steadier feel through repeated corner entries, direction changes and acceleration zones. Each damper is built around HL cylinders, titanium-coated shafts and transparent silicone O-rings, a combination that supports smooth movement and reliable sealing inside the assembly. Aluminum spring retainers work with the threaded adjusters to fine-tune spring tension and ride height, while the overhauled reinforced V parts expand setup choices for different surface conditions. The internal layout uses 3-hole big bore pistons, oil seals, rod guides and urethane bushings, giving experienced builders more scope to refine how the chassis settles, rolls and transfers weight. Damper oil and silicone oil are required separately. On a touring car chassis, that extra tuning range becomes useful when the setup needs to react to changing grip levels between practice sessions and race runs. A bench build can focus on oil fill, piston movement and preload settings, then move straight to track testing where the suspension can be adjusted corner by corner for a more planted feel.
