The small flat shape gives clear contact on straight edges, compact panels and other narrow areas where even paint placement matters. A shiny metal ferrule secures the bristle head to the slim black handle, creating a clean transition that supports careful loading and placement of paint. Laser-engraved handle markings identify the brush as MODELING BRUSH HG II and show the size in Japanese, which helps separate it from other tools during longer painting sessions. The handle material is solvent-resistant, a practical match for hobby paint work where repeated contact with common modeling media can occur. At the rear, the handle end incorporates a stopper that helps keep the brush from rolling across the bench and reduces the chance of the bristles touching the work surface. If that shape is not needed in a particular tool setup, the stopper can be cut off with side cutters.
