Compatibility
This RC servo saver kit adds an adjustable steering connection for a wide range of chassis layouts while helping reduce shock loads passed into the servo during running. The set is designed for universal use and is listed for many Tamiya platforms including M-06, M-06Pro, F104, F104 Pro II, DT-02 and DT-03, making it a practical choice for repairs, replacements or fresh steering setups. Several servo saver bases are provided so the mounting interface can be matched to different servo makes. The instruction data names base options for Futaba, Sanwa, Acoms, JR and KO, allowing the spline connection to be selected according to the servo in the chassis. Two spring rates are included: S6 strong and S9 weak. The assembly diagrams also show separate configurations for off-road car and racing car use, with S3 or S5 upper parts chosen according to the layout. Mounting hardware covers 3 mm x 12, 2.6 mm x 10 and 2 mm x 10 screw formats, with S1 and S2 spacers assigned to the screw diameter. During setup, the saver arm can be arranged to suit the direction of the servo in the car, and the linkage can be attached by cranked rod or by ball pin depending on the steering system in use. That makes the kit useful both when restoring an older chassis and when refining a custom RC build around the available servo and linkage parts.
