The 1:10 Holiday Buggy 2010 RC assembly kit brings back a classic Tamiya buggy from the 1970s with the familiar body shape mounted on the DT-02 chassis. That combination pairs retro styling with a current hobby platform, creating a buggy that looks at home on dirt, gravel and uneven ground while keeping the mechanical layout easy to follow during the build.
The DT-02 uses a bathtub frame with the battery pack loaded in the center, a chassis arrangement that helps distribute weight evenly through direction changes and rough sections. At the rear, the motor drives a 2WD transmission that keeps the drivetrain layout straightforward and accessible. Double wishbone suspension at all 4 wheels manages wheel travel through bumps, while the buggy format gives the model the ground-ready stance associated with classic off-road RC cars. The re-release format also preserves the identity of the original Holiday Buggy while placing it on a chassis designed for dependable running.
On a compact track, a gravel path or a rough open patch, the chassis layout supports smooth steering corrections and stable corner entry as the surface changes. Radio gear, a battery pack and a charger are required separately.
