TT-02 Oil Gear Diff Unit, RC drivetrain upgrade

The TT-02 Oil Gear Diff Unit brings an oil-filled differential setup to the TT-02 series, replacing the standard differential gear with a drivetrain assembly that supports smooth, efficient power transfer. Inside the unit, die-cast bevel gears work within a glass fiber-reinforced nylon gear case, while the gasket helps seal the housing for oil-filled operation. Setup changes can be made by selecting different oil grades or gear diff putty, which alters how the differential reacts as the chassis loads and unloads through turns. The assembly uses a ring gear, bevel pinion gear, O-rings, shafts and ball bearings to route drive through the gearbox joints with controlled internal movement. The instruction data specifies that oil should be filled only to the level of the differential axle, and the housing screws are tightened little by little in sequence to help prevent leaks. The included bevel pinion gear is used for the conversion, and the unit is not compatible with standard plastic drive shafts. Assembly universal shafts are used instead. This Hop-Up Option suits maintenance, rebuild and tuning work on TT-02 based RC cars where drivetrain response is part of the setup process. Compatible TT-02 series chassis can be equipped with the unit using the required matching parts for TT-02, TT-02D or TT02B applications.
