Product information
The 1:10 TT-02 Type-S chassis kit takes the familiar TT-02 shaft-driven 4WD layout and develops it into a more focused platform for club racing and advanced setup work. A Type 540 Torque Tuned motor is included, giving the chassis a strong starting point for brisk on-road running, while the Type-S specification adds race-oriented hardware directly into the build.
This version uses 3 mm thick FRP damper stays at the front and rear, plus metal suspension mounts that sharpen the foundation around the suspension geometry. Medium-narrow racing radial tires from Item 51023 support the on-road setup, and the long reversible suspension arms open different geometry options within the same chassis concept. Front and rear upper arms use turnbuckles, and the steering tie-rods are also turnbuckle-adjustable, so alignment changes can be made with more precision during setup. The TT-02 platform also follows the TT-01 with a layout designed to keep assembly approachable while leaving room for later tuning through the wide TT-02 option range.
On a home workbench, the kit offers a clear introduction to chassis tuning through visible changes in suspension and steering settings. At club level or in Spec GT style running, the Type-S layout gives a solid base for repeated laps, setup comparison and steady progression in on-road RC driving. Radio gear, a battery pack and a charger are required separately.
