This aluminum damper set brings a chassis-specific suspension upgrade to M-Chassis builds with 4 oil dampers developed around a shorter format. The damper cylinders and damper rods are 2 mm shorter than touring car aluminum dampers, which lowers ride height and opens up more exact stroke adjustment on compact chassis layouts.
The set is supplied as a 118-piece assembly package with threaded cylinders, adjustment nuts, springs, pistons, O-rings and mounting hardware. A hard black coating on the damper surfaces reduces friction, while the blue damper caps and white springs give the assembled suspension a crisp mechanical contrast. The internal setup can be tailored through piston choice, with 2-hole and 3-hole pistons specified for different chassis positions in the included build information. Standard damper oil is #400, and damper oil is available separately.
On the bench, the set supports detailed front and rear suspension work for M-03, M-04, M-05 and M-06 chassis. It can also be used with TT-01 TYPE-E and TT-01D TYPE-E chassis together with 54059 and 54060, and with MF-01X chassis when the stated 5 x 9 mm cushion balls are added. The result is a more precisely tunable damper package for drivers refining ride height, spring tension and damping response.
