The DF-02/TT-01 Front One-way Unit changes the front drivetrain layout by replacing the front differential gear with a one-way mechanism. Under power, the front end keeps traction engaged; when throttle is off, the difference in rotation between front and rear wheels is canceled, supporting smoother, stall-free cornering on technical sections and tighter turns.
The set contains 19 parts and is built around the one-way ring gear, left and right front one-way housings, one-way joints, bearing spacers and 1060 flanged ball bearings. During assembly, the housing and ring gear holes are aligned and secured with 2 x 8 mm cap screws using the included 1.5 mm hex wrench. The instructions also note a 6 mm washer adjustment when a universal shaft shows excess play at the one-way joint, giving a clear mechanical route to fine-tuning fit.
Fitment details matter with this upgrade. TT-02 TYPE-S and TT-02 TYPE-SR chassis use it together with 53590, TT-02B requires the 6 mm O-ring MB16 in the connection cup, and TT-02RR uses the kit wheel axle and driveshaft together with 53590. For DF-02 and TT-01 based builds, this unit suits tuning sessions focused on front-end response and drivetrain behavior rather than cosmetic changes alone.
