The Alum. Damper Retainer -1mm is a suspension tuning part for compatible RC chassis, combining machined aluminum construction with a blue anodized finish and a precise fit around the damper spring area. By lowering the spring set position by 1 mm compared with the aluminum mount of the OP595TRF shock, it supports a lower vehicle height and a more exact starting point for chassis setup.
This set contains 4 spring plates for matched installation across the suspension. The rigid aluminum holder is made for reliable initial adjustment of the damper spring, helping setup changes translate more directly at the shock. Compatibility extends beyond the main chassis list: on TD4 and TD2 chassis, only standard front dampers can be installed. On MF-01X chassis, use with 42102 or 42273 or 42354 or 42355 or 54000. On F104 and F104W chassis, use with 53901.
In workshop use, the 1 mm change gives a concrete option when refining stance and spring preload on touring, formula, or off-road based builds that share these chassis families. The 4-piece set suits rebuilds, replacement work, or a fresh suspension setup where consistent hardware across the dampers matters.
