This touring car bumper sponge is a grey urethane block sized at 70 x 225 x 25 mm, made to be trimmed into a custom front bumper for RC chassis. The soft material is intended to absorb shocks from contact and falls, helping protect the body shell and chassis when the front end takes an impact.
Instead of using a fixed shape, the block can be cut to suit the body mounted on the car. That makes it possible to match the bumper more closely to the shell profile and use the available space at the nose section more effectively. The universal fit information covers a broad list of compatible chassis, including F103GT, FF-04 EVO, FF-03, FF-03 PRO, TA08 PRO, TA07 MS, TA07 PRO, TA06 MS, TA06, TA06 PRO, TA05 Ver.II, TB-Evo.7, TB-Evo.6 MS, TB-Evo.6, TB-05 PRO, TB-04, TB-04 PRO, TB-03, TB-03 VDS, TRF419XR, TRF419X and TRF419.
In workshop use, the sponge can be shaped for a new shell, a replacement body or a revised race setup where front-end clearance matters. The rectangular format also leaves room to remove only as much material as the body line requires, rather than working around a pre-formed bumper shape.
