This 1:10 RC assembly kit captures the Volkswagen Type 2 T1 in its 23-window Samba Bus form, pairing the unmistakable van body with the M-06L chassis for a layout that mirrors the rear-engine character of the original. The clear polycarbonate shell gives builders a lightweight body to finish, while separate molded parts add definition to the bumpers, side mirrors and lamp areas.
Under the body, the M-06 chassis places the motor at the rear and drives the rear wheels, with the battery pack mounted longitudinally and the RC units arranged on the sides. That layout supports balanced weight distribution and a low center of gravity across the 239 mm wheelbase. A 540 motor and an electronic speed controller are included to complete the drive package, and metal-plated dish wheels reinforce the classic look once the shell is painted and trimmed. Many tuning parts are available as options for further chassis setup changes.
On the bench, the body offers plenty of detail to bring out the split-window bus shape, roof glazing and trim lines with careful finishing. On the road, the rear-wheel-drive M-06L platform gives the model a character that suits the full-size Type 2 inspiration. Radio gear, a battery pack, a charger and paints are required separately.
