Primers

A premium primer provides the optimal foundation for subsequent coats of paint, as it smooths out any bumps and uneven surfaces and improves the adhesion of the paint. In our shop, you will find an extensive selection of primers for plastic (ABS/PS), metal ceramic and wooden components.

TS spray colours

Tamiya’s TS spray colours are acrylic-based paints that are ideally suited to spraying plastic and RC models (e.g. truck models and functional models) and only require a short drying time.

PS spray colours

PS spray colours are designed for painting polycarbonate chassis (transparent, painted from the inside), and are resistant to both oil and fuel.

AS spray colours

Tamiya’s AS spray paints were specially developed for painting model aircraft and allow you to create subtle shades and precise details.

XF acrylic colours

Tamiya’s acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resin and can be applied with a brush or airbrush pistol. XF acrylic paints have a matte finish, while X acrylic paints retain a glossy effect after drying.

Diorama texture colours

Our diorama texture colours can be used to create textured surfaces (e.g. for grainy sand, rough concrete, powdery snow or lush grass). The paints can also be mixed with Tamiya XF paints to obtain a different colour.

Lacquer colours

Made from artificial resin, Tamiya’s lacquer paints have a very fast drying time, are highly scratch-resistant, and can be applied with an airbrush pistol.

Polish, cleaners and ageing materials
