The Mini was a small, two-door, four-seat car produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1959 until 2000. Original Minis were built for four decades without model changes. This car was front-wheel drive layout which was rare at that time, and it featured compact mechanics and maximum interior space. Tamiya presents the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II 1991 on the popular TT-02 chassis. This car took part in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. Based on the compact Mercedes-Benz 190 E, it received improved aerodynamics with components such as mudguards, front and rear spoilers and a large rear wing. The engine is a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder DOHC engine with 340 hp. In the same year, the works car, sponsored by the German beer brand König Pilsener, secured second place in the championship and took the manufacturers' championship from Mercedes-Benz. The 58750 TAMIYA 1:10 scale model is based on the proven TT-02 chassis. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer with the countless optional tuning parts.
