It offers responsive drive characteristics and fuss-free maintenance of parts such as the easy-access differential, which can be removed from the underside with minimal disassembly. C.V.A. (Constant Volume Adjustable) oil shock-damped 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features dedicated long arms and steering linkage components for a range of setup options. A silky-smooth drivetrain utilizes full ball bearings, oil-filled gear differential unit and universal drive shafts. It can be assembled with a 225mm (M) or 239mm (L) wheelbase, making it compatible with appropriately-sized existing Tamiya M-chassis body parts sets. • 1/10 scale R/C chassis assembly kit. The new MB-01 chassis continues that tradition, and allows six setups by choosing from three types of wheelbase, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Its first body recreates the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse which was a car developed with high level tune-ups based upon the compact 2-door Fiat 600. The body is pre-painted.The muscular form had front and rear over fenders, a large radiator cover integrated with the front bumper, and horizontally-opened engine hood. The WRC 2004 rally season saw major rule changes governing aspects such as body design, engine, suspension and more; Subaru would narrowly miss out on the Drivers’ Championship, with star driver Petter Solberg finishing in second to Sébastien Loeb. In the Rally Mexico, third race of the calendar, Solberg set fastest times on 9 of 15 stages but a 5’40" penalty would push him back to an eventual 4th place finish. Its dashing body design was the work of the renowned artists at Pininfarina, and the highly distinctive shell retains popularity even today. About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 422mm, width: 186mm, height: 132mm. • The injection molded body offers a highly realistic recreation of the 037 form, and comes with metal-plated light cases for headlights, taillights and fog lamps.
