The Metal Display Antenna Set adds a crisp finishing touch to 1:14 R/C Truck Series models with 2 sprung metal antennas that echo the tall aerials seen on full-size rigs. Mounted on the body shell, they sharpen the truck's road-going look while staying purely decorative, so the visual upgrade does not alter radio control functions.
Each antenna assembly uses a metal rod, base and spring, with small attachment parts included for fitting. The spring section is there for a practical reason: when the truck body takes a knock, the antenna can flex instead of acting like a rigid post. The instruction sheet notes that components for 2 antennas are included, with extra parts provided as spares. Installation is done by making a 2 mm hole in the chosen body position and securing the assembly from inside the shell with the supplied hardware. The leaflet also specifies a 1.2 x 8 mm screw for the antenna assembly and a 1.8 mm O-ring in the mounting setup.
On a finished truck body, the pair creates the kind of small scale detail that stands out in close-up photos, shelf display and event use. For builders refining a highway tractor or show truck, this set adds a realistic exterior accent that works alongside paint, lighting and other body details.
